College, the final frontier of a person’s life before the real world. This time of their lives should be the most enjoyable that they have. Ever since I was a child I had looked forward to going to college to meet new people, go to crazy parties, and experience things that you couldn’t experience in high school or anywhere else. College is such an amazing place and no matter how old you are you should never forget your college experience. It is a place where you are completely on your own and you’re now a grown adult, not held down by your parents or guardians. It’s a place to find yourself and become the person you want to be; to find the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. College is a new chapter in your life no matter how good or bad it is, it can define you as a person. The college you go to should be the place of your dreams and you should never want to leave. As for Snow College it is the complete opposite for me and I know for others. I came out here with the expectations where I was going to have a blast, party, meet many girls, and have a life changing experience. It is my third year here and so far it has been the complete opposite. I hear how much fun my friends are having at college and the parties they go to and the events their colleges have. I thought that after my freshman year things would change and I would have more fun but nothing has changed. The dances and events that the college holds are very uneventful and boring. They do the same thing over and over again each year when it comes to dances and school functions.
Our school sports programs are top in the nation with outstanding athletes and coaches. Our football team was ranked 2nd in the National Junior College Association of America and our volleyball team ranked 4th.
