The person I’d most want to be is indeed a fictional character. He is no other than Ash Ketchum from the Pokemon anime universe. Ash Ketchum’s most notable physical feature is his Pokemon League Cap, which displays a green “L” at the front. He claims to have sent “a million postcards” in order to win the hat. Along with the cap, he wears a blue, short-sleeved coat over his green shirt. His brown belt contains 6 Poke balls, containing his main party Pokemon. The term role model generally means any "person who serves as an example, whose behaviour is emulated by others". The individual that I chose from a young age to emulate my behavior off of is Spongebob Squarepants. He is a sponge that lives at the bottom of the ocean in a town called Bikini Bottom, where he works at a local burger restaurant called the Krusty Krab. He’s not my hero in the idea that he lives alone and works in fast food for his entire life but because he is the most loyal and determined individual that I can think of. He taught me that no matter how old you are, to never let go of your inner child.…

Spanish and English had similar motivations for exploration of the New World, such as gaining land, goods from the natives, and gold. However, their motivations also differ greatly. The Spanish conquistadors also gained slaves from the native people, as well as spreading the word of Christianity. The English settlers came to the New World to get away from the religious oppression in England and to practice religion freely, and to grow tobacco to send back to England. The Spanish gained much more land quickly because, upon landing in places like the Caribbean and Brazil, because of their conquering and enslaving of the natives. The English came to the New World much less prepared, having loads of ships carrying rich, upperclassmen who were not capable of survival in unsettled lands.…

The definition of a role model is “a person whose behavior, example, or success is or can be emulated by others, especially by younger people.” I think this is the most accurate description because when you find your role model, you do your best to emulate them in any way you can. Being a role model is the most powerful form of education; we, the young developing adults, would be lost without it. A role model is a person that someone looks up to and wants to be like, either in the present or in the future. It can be anyone; a parent, family member, friend, or even someone off of a movie or book. The tremendous role models that I continue to learn from are my amazing mom, enlightened Coach Bird, and brilliant minded Sherlock Holmes.…

Everyone in the universe is born with good qualities and the bad ones that I wish I did not have anymore. I love to help people and have the ambition to help as many people as possible in my lifetime, but there are things I wish would just diminish. Dreaming takes hope and motivation, two things of which I do not have the best of. I know deep in my mind and heart that not one person is perfect, but I want to contain and try to improve the things I do not like about myself. This way I can grow as a person and make a difference no matter what qualities I…
