PREFACE:

Theoretical knowledge builds understanding in a person, but practical knowledge helps the person to learn how to apply the theoretical knowledge.

The main objective of practical knowledge is to develop the awareness about the industrial understanding and business practices in the student as a supplement to theoretical studies of production and operation management,

The practical study in an industry will give us exposure of various machines and it will increase our awareness towards unknown part or industrial environment.

The practical knowledge imparted here in Ashima Textile Ltd indebts and enhances depth of my practical knowledge and thus my sincere gratitude to Ashima Textile Group Ltd. for all the efforts they put in to make our study fruitful.
