Culture – the way of life for an entire society; food, beliefs, dress, language, music, festivals, art, holidays, religion, behaviors, values, rituals, manners
Ethnic – race, origin, religion, culture, common ancestry and genealogy; kin/tribe, people of one country not all same ethnicity but are same nationality

Prejudice – pre + judge, refers to existing biases toward members of certain groups based on stereotypes, ex: sexism, racism, ageism, anti-Semitism, linguicism
Stereotype – ass/u/me, ideas held by individuals about members of certain groups, some in your favor but usually negative, treat people with bias and then become prejudice
Ethnocentric – the viewpoint that one’s ethnic group is the center of everything, against which all other groups are judged, + = pride, - = genocide
Assimilation – the process whereby a minority group gradually adopts the prevailing culture’s customs and attitudes
Taboo – strong social prohibition, forbidden, objectionable, abhorrent
