ACCG224 is a 3 credit point unit.
Students in this unit should read this guide carefully at the start of the session. It contains important information about the unit. If anything in the outline is unclear, please consult one of the teaching staff in the unit.
Irrespective of accumulated marks, students must pass the final examination and score passing mark to gain a passing grade in this unit. Assessments in this unit assist students in developing capabilities outlined in the unit guide. There is an emphasis on continuous assessment to encourage students to learn constantly and consistently throughout the session.
If you are absent from a tutorial and/or miss an in-class test, you must comply with requirements as stated in the Special Consideration Policy. If special consideration is granted for a missed in-class test the weighting of your final examination mark will be accordingly increased. ASSESSMENT TASKS

Class Participation
Class and Online Participation
During the session, every student is required to actively participate in the tutorial classes and online discussion forums on the ACCG224 iLearn webpage by preparing thoroughly the pre-set homework questions, attending the classes on time, showing engagement throughout the classes, voluntarily answering the tutor’s or other students’ questions, commenting on other students’ contributions and asking questions beyond the pre-set tutorial questions.
