Purchase #1 Desktop iMac
Why did you make the purchase? I made the purchase so that I would be able to have an easier workflow for video editing.
Would you categorize the purchase as a "want" or a "need"? I would say that the purchase was a need.
How long did you think about making the purchase before making it? To finalize my decision-making, regarding to the purchase it took 3 weeks to decide.
What was the deciding factor when making the decision to purchase (price, availability, status, etc)? The price was the most important factor in the decision-making. I needed to know if the purchase would be feasible for my household budget.
Purchase #2 Gas
Why did you make the purchase? I made the purchase so that I would be able to travel to work
for the week.
Would you categorize the purchase as a "want" or a "need"? The purchase was most defiantly a need.
How long did you think about making the purchase before making it? The decision-making took me about 5 minutes to decide on a location for gas.
What was the deciding factor when making the decision to purchase (price, availability, status, etc)? The price of the gas was a factor and the location in where the gas is coming from.
Purchase #3 Coat
Why did you make the purchase? My father needed a winter coat.
Would you categorize the purchase as a "want" or a "need"? In my opinion it was a want but in my father’s think with his logic it was a need.
How long did you think about making the purchase before making it? I had to see if his previous coat was durable and if it had any wear and tear.
What was the deciding factor when making the decision to purchase (price, availability, status, etc)? Price and availability were the deciding factors in the purchase. I had to find a coat that was affordable; also I had to locate a store that still had winter coats in. Most of the stores that I went to were preparing for the spring, so most of the clothing in the store was spring clothes and jackets. I had found a coat on the clearance rack at Target and it was the last one.
