Report Summary.
Boat Afloat P/L is a newly established fishing tour company which will operate via e-commerce. Boat Afloat P/L investigates areas of exceptional fishing around Australia and then arranges fishing tours to these destinations. Boat Afloat P/L total contingent is the managing director, the general manager / research expedition leader and an office clerk.
Boat Afloat P/L will operate exclusively via the internet, both finding the destination, which is then investigated for suitability and the communication with the client base, bookings and client information which is to be kept on EVERNOTE cloud system. All payment for tours is to be used via PAYPAL, all so to reduce office staff to a minimum. Boat Afloat P/L has also developed in house a fishing App which is comprehensively linked to weather and wave and tide information around the world among other fishing information. The App will allow Boat Afloat P/L when explored and developed new destinations to inform client base and further increase client communication via internet or Smartphone.
This study investigated whether the development of fishing tours to international destination would be a viable addition to the company by using the existing model. This study investigated both the big picture of competition and the viability of both the clientelle and infrastructure required to implement a number of destinations around the world. The information for the basis of this report was collected from various sources both locally and around the world.
The conclusion of this report is that there would be a significant value added contribution to Boat afloat P/L should they take up the online system as described together with the number of recommendations outlined in this report. The main Clientelle focus should be the upper echelon of the male
