How I learnt about this topic…

I leant about this topic mainly from note taking and discussions within class. I studied my notes and looked up the definition of each skill in more depth on the in internet and texts books to give me a better understand.

Introduction

In this assignment I will explain how listening could be structured and why this is important in the helping work. I will try to explain how to effectively open and a close a session appropriately. There are many skills used by a listener and I will give a definition and examples of a number of these
