If you do not receive notification concerning the examination or if you have any problems, contact the Examination Section (tel 0861 670 411) immediately, and not your lecturers. Consult Tutorial Letter PST103E/101 for information on admission credits. 2.2 • Learning content for the examination Prescribed textbooks * * Both textbooks will be examined. Do not forget the additional information in your study guide and tutorial letters.

Why do you say this? (4) Field studies*: Pupils can participate actively*. Teachers can exercise more control yet leave ample space for pupils to express* themselves. Question 3: You are teaching in an urban school with no means of getting away from the school grounds for a field trip. You wish to give your pupils fieldwork experience in the school grounds on an aspect from the Geography or History syllabus. (10) 3.1 What preparation is necessary for the fieldwork?
