Asymptomatic Twin Case Studies
Colleen is a 24yo, G1 P0, who was seen for an ultrasound evaluation and FTS for twins. She overall denies any major medical disorders other than some asthma but she is currently asymptomatic not on treatment. Based on her height and weight at the start of the pregnancy, her BMI was 30. On today’s assessment, overall she has no complaints.

By dates, she is 12 4/7 weeks and the crown-rump length measurement of the twins is concordant. The dividing membrane is identified and the twin is consistent with a dichorionic/diamniotic twin. Good amniotic fluid volume is seen on either side of the membrane. The cervix is long and closed. The nuchal translucency measurements fell within the normal range for both twins.
