Atheism Persuasive Speech
_”There's a lot of that going around, Sarah. If you're down to arguing about capitalization, you're down to your ride.”_

I am pleased to hear that, I do hope I have contributed to some of that, oh and don’t try to make out its simply nothing more than forgetting to press the shift key, it’s a failure to engage the brain! It’s important, if we are to debate than we do so by assigning the attributes of God correctly, it seems to me that atheism is so irrational the only way it can survive a conversation let alone a debate is to redefine anything that opposes its worldview, you hang on by your figure nails terrified you will slip up and make a claim that you then can’t back up, so you have to avoid claims, you fend off any attempt to be labelled as you may have to explain your label, not surprisingly you label everyone else, you spend what little life you have attacking something you claim (often) doesn’t even exist, do you realise one day you and I will be laying on our death beds me hoping God exists and you sweating he doesn’t, you will scream for your mummy at 80 plus and if you are lucky an atheistic nurse will tell you that you are just a random chance of chemicals that have come together by accident and she needs the bed so hurry up and die, or you could be unlucky and get a Christian nurse who will see the image of God, in the body of an atheist, and offer

I've even read the Apocrypha. I took Christian instruction as an adult. I know what we're talking about, Sarah.
No you haven’t, that’s your atheism getting the better of you, look you are not a scientist, theologian, one of the top intellects in the world, Richard Dawkins, one of the other idiots (well you are an idiot.) you are a boy who has made himself a badge that says- I’m rational and logical not for what I believe but for what I don’t, and to add authenticity you have laminated it, I thought I would add that to save a few posts!

Sean McDowell, a speaker at the conference and former atheist, explained the knowledge required to understand the secular worldview is primarily based on scientific experiments and discoveries. After McDowell introduced himself, he opened the presentation up to questions from the audience and began to answer questions as an atheist would. As I listened to the questions presented, I was impressed as McDowell was able to shut…

Having completed the unit of philosophy of religion, you are now ready to respond to an article written by an actual atheist. This article titled “On Being an Atheist,” was written by H. J. McCloskey in 1968 for the journal Question. McCloskey is an Australian philosopher who wrote a number of atheistic works in the 1960s and 70s including the book God and Evil (Nijhoff, 1974). In this article, McCloskey is both critical of the classical arguments for God’s existence and offers the problem of evil as a reason why one should not believe in God. H. J. McCloskey, a renowned philosopher in the mid 20th century, wrote a provocative article in 1968 titled, “On Being an Atheist”. McCloskey argues for atheism as the preferred and better belief system based upon his refutation of the theistic arguments. He argues against the existence of God by attempting to refute the cosmological and teleological arguments; as well he endeavours to discredit a God based upon the presence of evil. In doing this, he extends the boundaries for arguing God, whilst opening the floor to debate free will and the apparent comfort of the atheistic belief system. However, through careful analysis of the arguments for God, and an insight into the mysterious free will that God has given man; we see that a theistic belief is logically more sound and preferred.…

In this paper, I will be making a response to a well-known writer and atheist, H. J. McCloskey, to his article entitled, “On Being an Atheist.” “An atheist is a person who disbelieves or denies the existence of God or gods.” It is very clear to me that McCloskey is a smart and intelligent man but he also seems to be a little on the arrogant side. His purpose for writing this particular article was to inform other people as to why he believes that “atheism is a much more comfortable belief than theism and why theists should be miserable because they are theists.” I believe that everyone has the right to believe whatever they so desire and that everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion. I am a saved, sanctified, and born-again Christian and I wholeheartedly believe in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am in total disagreement with…

A fallacy is an error in reasoning, which differs from factual error in that errors are simply wrong about the facts. A fallacy can occur in any kind of discussion, argument, or reading. For the purposes of this paper, the fallacies discussed will pertain to arguments. A fallacious argument is an argument in which the premises given for the conclusion do not provide the needed degree of support (Atheism Web). Fallacies of distraction attempt to distract from the falsity of an argument by the illegitimate use of logical operators (Stephen 's Guide to Logical Fallacies).…

    3. A report from Alberta’s Workplace Health and Safety confirms the death of a young landscaper working for the city of Edmonton, was caused by a distracted driver who never seemed to realize she had hit him. The landscaper was working on a clear and sunny day on July 24 when a Honda Civic crashed into him. According to witnesses, the young man was clearly visible. Some said the woman was holding a cell phone and seemed to be texting before getting out of her car. “The driver did not even know that she had crushed a landscape worker. There…

PTSD or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is a psychiatric disorder that can occur following the experience or witnessing of life-threatening events such as the military combat, natural disasters, terrorism incidents, or any major tragedy. This is common in the life of veterans and is the leading cause of suicide among veterans. A VA patient who survived in Baghdad shares his experience with PTSD and explains how he knew he had this disability. Many veterans speak out about this issue and describe their continuous anger, alcohol addiction, and constantly wanted to fight. They usually feel very isolated and distant from their loved ones. One patient states, “PTSD involves rocketing into extreme states of stress re-activity; in the form of terror, rage, and uncontrollable impulses, and plunging into equally extreme states of being shut-down—exhaustion, emotional numbing, despair, and dissociation”. PTSD is about having fear and anxiety, allowing veterans to rage with anger and different emotion. There are many factors to PTSD, which affects others in different ways; or example, using video games to keep them occupied, spending money due to the lack of impulse control because of changes in their brain, and even not obtaining another job.…

Attention Getter: I would like to start my presentation off by telling you all to ask yourselves a series of fairly straight forward questions. I want you to take a look at you’re, any hand and ask your selves “Who’s hand is this?” Do the same with your other hand, and now both legs and your arms if you would like. If I am not mistaking the answer to all your questions are mine right. They are your hands, legs, and arms. What I am trying to get through to you all today is that your body is your body and that a person should be able to profit of his or her own body if done in a safe and controlled way.…

The atheists’ core beliefs have already been brought to attention but in order for a complete argument to take place, a simple overview is not sufficient, so a more in depth analysis is needed to better understand this ideological battle. To be fair to atheists, there is a diversity of ideas and beliefs why God cannot exist. Some…
