Educational tours are of great importance as they not only broaden our outlook but enhance our knowledge to a great extent. That is why, we, the students await for this precious moment impatiently.

Recently I got such an occasion. It was the time of summer vacation when all of a sudden a programme was made for all India tour. It was a tour of twenty days. All the students who were willing to enjoy this tour had to deposit Rs. 5000/- to bear the expenses of travelling, fooding and lodging. I being a great advocate of educational tours joined it whole heartedly. My parents supported me with required money.

We had our reservations in a special bogie. We were a group of fifty students all from XIIth class, three teachers and two attendants. We had already taken those things which we thought were necessary during the travel. As it was fixed, we left Delhi on 25th of May. We were sent off at the railway station by our principal, a number of friends and our parents. Everyone was in a cheerful mood.

They were all praying for our safe and happy time during the journey. The train was at its right time and we left the railway station in a very pleasant atmosphere. Our teachers also looked very happy. They advised us to maintain the norms of discipline all along the journey. We, the students assured them not to create any unpleasant moment at any cost.

As we had planned our first halt was Jaipur the 'Pink City'. Here we had decided to spend at least two days. We were very excited to see this city which is famous for city palace, Birla Mandir, Amber Fort and Jantar-Mantar. We visited all these places in a very planned way and enjoyed every moment. We also enjoyed the famous dishes of Jaipur. We made some purchases in the last and then proceeded for our next visiting place, which was Mumbai.

We stayed in Mumbai for five days. It is a big city and has a net of local railway which seems to be the part and parcel of local Mumbai people. There we found hustle and

The city I’ve chosen is New Delhi, the capital of India. In many ways it is a small reflection of most parts of India. Owing to its image as a land of opportunities, many people from varied cultures, backgrounds, regions and religions come here each year which has resulted in a blended society. It is a haven for foodies as there is a wide variety of cuisines and experiences available from multi cuisine or specialized fine dining restaurants to dhabas and from clubs to cafes etc.…

We reached Clifton at about 9 a.m. The site was very beautiful. Cool and refreshing breeze was blowing. First of all, we began to swim in cold water. After the bath we had tea with light refreshment. After that, some of us enjoyed camel-ride and horse-ride while others played at card and chess. It was now lunch time. Each of us had brought with us the best of dishes prepared at home. We all enjoyed our delicious lunch. Then we had an amusing program of songs and funny stories. Akbar entertained us with his songs. It was discovered that he was very good singer. After that some of us started playing football on the sandy shore. Some of my friends collected sea shells and colorful pebbles. Now it was evening. We had tea at 5 p.m. The last item of the picnic was a group photograph. We all than packed our stuff and were ready to go home.…

My first experience to this place became really memorable and joy full experience with my friends and teachers. The first day we reached Pokhara in the evening at around 5 o’clock, so, we went to Fewa Lake to enjoy the excellent view of sunset. Thereafter, some went for boating, some just roam around, some went to restaurants and some of us chose to enjoy ride on bicycle. We rent only one bike for three of us Chadani, Jyoti and me. Without knowing time, since it started to become dark, getting excited, we rented for an hour. At first, I was not confident to ride by myself so, Chadani, my friend gave me a ride, then I tried by myself with her help. And the funny part was I could handle it on my own. I felt like, “Hurrah, I can ride on my own.” The bike was really comfortable. As there was only one we rotated among us one by one. As it was already getting late for dinner, we could not make for 1 hour and returned to hotel for dinner as we have to be there by the given time.…

The day of the trip began as usual but it was fun enough for us. The fundamental issue of the trip was the transportation to the location. We have insufficient budget and could only rent a mini van. Then, some of us had no choice and were forced to carpool in Bryan’s car. We had a fun riding trip with some card games and singing some trending songs in the car. Then, Yasmin brought up a hot discussion topic and all of us had a really fun time debating over each other’s statement. Not long after that, the entrance of Damai Puri Resort is just right in front of us.…

Soon my exams got over and the time came for me to go home. To be frank, I usually get bored at home. But the idea of going home, the packing of my stuff, the travel and the journey is what excites me. I said goodbye to my friends, hugged them, and wished them happy holidays. A friend gave me chocolates for my journey and wished me happy journey. I just love this feeling. Since the exams were over they had nothing else to do, so they came with me to the station to see me off. I bought a bottle of Thums Up. Yes that’s my favourite drink. I went on and sat on my berth. I always prefer the side lower when I am travelling alone. There is a sense of privacy and is comfortable as…
