Atlas Shrugged By Ayn Rand Analysis

The novelist Ayn Rand was born in 1905 in a place known as Alisa, Russia. Rand was American novelist philosopher, screenwriter and a playwright, well known for her best two selling novels, Atlas shrugged and fountainhead. Her work is primarily centered in developing the philosophical concept of Objectivism. Rand died on 6 March 1982 having influenced many writers and philosophers of her time. One of the philosophers greatly moved by the work of Rand was Leonard Peikoff (Deflem 223). According to Fred (205), the philosophical system of Objectivism was based on the essence of Philosophical, Hierarchically, Metaphysical and ethical dimensions that determine the path that politics and economy should take. One of her subject that led to the heated discussion is that reality is absolute and objective. She viewed human mind always competent to objectively achieve the valid knowledge that already exists. He also views man as a rational being who can think and act rationally guided by free chosen-principles.
