Atticus Sin To Kill A Mockingbird

The hook of To Kill A Mockingbird is, Atticus Cunningham said it was a sin to kill a mockingbird. The name of the book is called To Kill A Mockingbird. It was wrote by Harper Lee. Jem and Scout always wondered why Atticus wouldn’t play with them anymore. Although, Atticus was always there when Jem and Scout didn’t know they needed him. My claim is, i think it is a sin to kill a mockingbird. If, a mockingbird isn’t hurting you, why should you want to go over there and hurt it? My first topic sentence is, how Atticus showed respect, like how he was a respectful person. On page one hundred-thirty three Atticus would always say about Mrs. Dubose. “She’s an older lady and she’s ill. You just hold your head high and be a gentleman. Whatever she
says to you, it’s your job not to let her make you mad.” Even though Atticus didn’t even like her, himself. My second reason of Atticus being polite is, on page one hundred-seventy one, Atticus tells Scout.”Your aunt’s doing me a favor as well as you all. I can’t stay here all day with you, this summer is gonna be a hot one.” “I’m only doing what’s best for your family.” My second topic sentence is , how Atticus showed people he was brave, like he wasn’t scared of anything. On page two hundred-ninety three, Atticus stood up to Mr. Ewell’s by telling Jem and Scout that “they didn’t have anything to fear from Bob Ewell.” My second reason of showing you Atticus is brave is on page three hundred- thirty five Atticus took care of all his business and now, went back along to the ol’ dump he used to live in. My counterclaim, topic sentence is that Atticus is a very polite guy, but can be scary or brave, and he has got a reason for every action he makes. My reason to support my counterclaim is, there’s always more something to whatever he’s being polite or brace to, then what he’s telling people. On page three hundred - fifty two, something was slowly coming towards Scout. Scout walked up to the shadow figure and repeatedly said “Atticus?”. My response to my counterclaim is I don’t think it was Atticus. I think Atticus is at home. My explanation of my counterclaim is that Atticus would never hurt his family, and sneak off to scare them like that when he’s always there for them rather they know it, or not. My conclusion is Atticus has a reason for everything he does. Rather it’s nice, mean, or even sticking up for somebody in his family. My summarized reasons are, if you’re in a good mood, you’re gonna be nice, if you’re in a bad mood or an upset mood you're not gonna be so nice, and finally, if somebody messing with your little brother or sister you are gonna stand up for them. My view is worth a reader because, it summarizes what i read to what the questions are asking, and that’s pretty important.
