The targeted audience of this writing would be anyone wanting to hear a one sided article against oil and why we need to find an alternative. I would say anyone between the ages of 18-92, not that 92 would be the cut off age. Just as in my first writing oil and natural gas is part of my everyday life since my family works in the field. I may be a little bias which is why I chose this article to write about.

Yes, I think that this would be a bad spot for an oil rig considering it is “Iceberg Alley”. Though you have to drill where the oil is at, not close by. This scenario could take a turn if the thought was that all 185 man crew was to leave the rig just as soon as the weather was known to be bad. There could be a different outcome to each scenario good or bad.
Scenario 2: Nigeria-America’s Oil Quagmire
America’s fifth leading oil supplier is Nigeria(3). Unfortunately, Nigeria hasn’t received many royalties from the drilling of oil, therefore guerilla groups have disrupted oil operations. “Since December 2005, Nigeria has experienced increased pipeline vandalism, kidnappiing, and militant takeovers of oil facilities in the Niger Delta,” I believe that the US Department of Energy(DoE) needs to pay royalties to Nigeria or is some way help the country to make their people comfortable that the DoE is drilling in their backyard.
