Agricola and ABI-Inform Databases
Why would anyone want to use the Agricola or ABI-Inform databases? Agricola is a database that provides information about all of the different forms of agriculture, whereas ABI-Inform provide information about businesses. The databases have both similarities and differences. Following will be a description of the databases, a compare/contrast table, and the instructions on how to use each database.
AGRICOLA is database that provides informative bibliography literature references pertaining to all forms of agricultural material. AGRICOLA database covers electronic documents from 1970-Present in the format of both abstract and index. The database has over 4,810,280 records related to agriculture. The resources are mainly listed in English, only one third of the documents are listed in African, Asian, Slavic and Western languages.
