In the article “Heads Up Humans, proves that automation can cause tons of issues and I say this because not only can automation take away jobs, it can also make people lazy, and take advantage of those who work hard. Starting off, in paragraph one of the article, “Heads up Humans,” it states that “Automation isn’t just for blue-collar workers anymore. This is also shown in paragraph 1 where the text shows that, “Others see white-collar automation as causing a level of persistent technological unemployment that demands policies that would redistribute wealth. Robot panic is in full swing”. This can lead to another example: the companies who are wealthier than the others or even individuals can invest and buy advanced machines to make their jobs easier, while smaller businesses who have small budgets have to struggle to keep up. This can lead to greater inequality and make it harder for everyone to compete fairly. It’s important to recognize that while automation can bring benefits and help people, it also creates challenges that can be hard for some people to overcome. In paragraph 6 the text says, “Software made it cheaper and faster to trawl through legal documents, so law firms searched more documents and judges allowed more and more expansive discovery requests.“ which shows that for some people believe that automation can be a good thing and help improve the market but I believe that automation has a negative impact, and is this information provided even confirmed?
