AUTOMATED COMPUTING BIR FORMS SYSTEM

INTRODUCTION
Everyone pays taxes in one form or another- mostly income and sales taxes. But why do we pay these taxes? There are many services offered to citizens that could not be managed effectively under any other system. The taxes we pay goes for services such as for public schools, safe highways, healthcare, prisons and social services for low-income citizens. The city or county where you live provides water and garbage service, police and fire protection and also contributes to public schools.

Most people don’t realize the importance of the accounting department in keeping a business operating without hitches and delays. That’s probably because accountants oversee many of the back-office functions in a business — as opposed to sales, for example, which is front-line activity, out in the open and in the line of fire. Accountants are professional person who performs accounting functions such as audits or financial statement analysis. Accountants can either be employed with an accounting firm, a large company with an internal accounting department, or can set up an individual practice. The study focuses in lessening certain load of the accountants.

Statement of the problem

The study focuses on a game entitled “Automated Computing BIR Forms System For Segen Pharmaceuticals Inc.”. The researcher sought to establish answers to the following questions:

a. The Accountant manually computing the amount needed in the form. How to ease up the work of the accountant in filling up forms?

b. The Accountant having a hard time in printing the content using the EXCEL causing misalignment in the form. How to lighten up printing problem and the many wasted forms by the accountant?

c. Accountant faces problems in sorting out the forms. How to lighten up the load of the accountant in sorting out the files?

    Each of the department’s data are collected from different sources, some data is stored on hard copies that need to be reentered into the other system so that it is digitally available, which other branches are currently using. As a result of all the time it takes to transfer all existing data currently on hard copy, a lot of manpower hours are being wasted during this process.
