Since my childhood, I have been deeply impressed by a local mechanic who used to repair our car. As days passed by I was a little familiar with a few parts relating to automobile. I like 'drive unit' the most. During my 8th grade, when I was informed that mathematics and physics concepts are applied in designing an automobile; so I was motivated towards these subjects.
These features paved a path for a deeper knowledge; for instance, the dependence of a vehicle in human life has been increasing day by day; this is the reason for my pursuing a masters degree in automotive field with an emphasis in controls, so that I can enrich my knowledge.

A couple of subjects in my undergraduate course such as Computer Aided Engineering Drawing, Computer Aided Machine Drawing, Design of Machine Elements I & II, Kinematics of Machines, Dynamics of Machines and Automotive Engineering are very interesting, and these subjects worked as a catalyst in learning and exploring them in …show more content…
In addition to the academic interests, I have undergone an intensive training in CNC Milling, Programming and Operation with FANUC O-M Control at Advanced Training Institute (ATI) Chennai, which is one of the best training centres in the country. I have also attended a workshop on 'automotive sketching and car styling' held at Chennai. To present my knowledge of engineering, I have presented two papers, one on "Intelligent vehicle technology" and the other on "Enhancement of CHF in pool boiling using nanofluids" which was selected for National conference held at B.I.T.M, Bellary. To exhibit my skills of designing, I have participated in National Design competition '14 conducted by CADD Centre. These features in my undergraduate study have given me an insight into the ins and outs of Mechanical engineering principles and fundamentals.
Apart from the technical qualities, I am interested in extra-curricular activities as I love to play outdoor games such as cricket, soccer etc and indoor games like table tennis, chess; these activities help me strengthening myself physically and mentally.
