Reflecting on the past years of clinical rotations, reading journals and studying, I have transpired into a mature determined applicant. Serving my local community as a fundraiser for cancer research and diabetes UK has boosted my confidence in communicating with members of the public. I have thoroughly enjoyed volunteering at Dewsbury hospital, which was stimulating for the patients and has enabled me to hone my communicational skills. Elected student captain throughout my school years and now as a student representative at my university, I have honed the ability to prioritise, delegate and lead a team.
My participation at Bradford University, in 2001 led me to feature in my local newspaper, for my above key attributes and sheer determination in becoming a doctor. The complexity of my degree has enabled me to find peace from creative art and design which I find therapeutic and has been recognised by social media. I am a keen swimmer, runner and drawer which has helped me balance my academic and clinical duties; and as a medical student I will have no problem managing my time
