Autozone: Internal Strengths And Weaknesses
The SWOT analysis exist in AutoZone and breakdown to internal strengths and weaknesses and external opportunities and threats (Parnell, 2014). Offensive strategies are known as strengths and opportunities due to through a company’s strength, opportunities are made available (Panell, 2014). On the other hand, the company must also recognized as defensive weaknesses within the company contributes to threats (Parnell, 2014). AutoZone’s SWOT analysis will determine its market share, sales, and overall performance.

Strengths in AutoZone is its customer-employee relationships and competitive prices, which also creates customer loyalty (www.managementparadise.com, 2011). Due to a strong brand worth, the company withstand economic hardship and function in a retail multi-channel network (www.managementparadise.com, 2011). The pros from these strengths are that building a strong customer base and sales will more than likely increase year over year. A con would be that if AutoZone had to raise its prices, loyalty may leave and find another auto discount retailer.

The pros with high level inventory is when consumers demand parts, it can be pulled immediately from storage and delivered. However, a con is having parts that consumers don’t understand or desire to purchase; therefore these items are not being sold and taking up space in the warehouse storage or in retail
