The integration activity was a learning experience. Learning simple ways to help the cause of our mother nature, and learning about the people you are with. For me, at first I only felt that it was a typical tree-planting activity. But seeing the situation the people there are in, and the thoughtfulness of the people for the help we could extend really moved me. We all have the duty to protect and preserve the world we are in, because we only borrowed it from God, who is the most powerful Creator. He created the world beautiful; He only introduced all the goodness He could give to make the world we are in a wonderful place. But what are most of the people doing? Nowadays, almost all of us don’t bother to look upon the alarming situation of our mother nature, she is steadily degrading. As for the people responsible for all the destruction? They really don’t care about the adverse effects of what they’re doing, they just think of their personal benefits. They really never have the thoughtfulness to God for bringing us the world as blessing; we can’t take away the fact that life difficulties may hinder our prior responsibilities on protecting our mother nature. But it is not reasonable to do bad things just to take away the personal difficulties, which in return could affect the lives of many, and take away the privilege of the future generation to see the beauty that God gave us. As for those who still have the concern to help the cause of our mother nature, it is quite a happy thing because there are some who sticks with the responsibilities they have. As for me, I will do my best to give the immediate and most effective way to ease the critical situation of our environment. Even just in this simple way, I could show God how thoughtful and privileged I am to live in the beautiful world he created. The integration program didn’t just bring out a sense of commitment in me, but it also helped me know about the people I am with. I’m pretty glad
