I have had many friends in life, many have come and gone, but there is one friend that has remained to me loyal through thick and thin. His name is Pooja. I met Pooja in high school during orientation and his personality instantly struck me. he is outspoken and outgoing, the complete opposite of my character. I am quite shy and reserved.
After orientation surprising enough, I was allocated not only the same dormitory as Pooja but also the same cubicle. Being the outspoken one, Nicole introduced herself and that’s where our beautiful friendship began. The more time we spent together the more our friendship grew. We have remained the best of friends since then and though we argue and disagree about some things, we always find a solution and our friendship continues to grow.
Pooja understands me and she can tell when I am happy or sad. She knows how to read my moods and always does her best to cheer me up. Though we took different career paths after high school, we remained in contact and shared every little detail about our lives. She understands me like no one else has ever done.
Though we have dissimilar characteristics, we perfectly complement each other. She likes fun and all the hype that comes with it while I prefer a more silent life. However, this has never been an issue between us. We always find a way to enjoy each other’s company with our different personalities. One thing that I like about Pooja is that she is flexible and she is always new and open to new ideas.
Though we don’t see each other as often as we used to, we make sure to keep in touch and normally meet at least twice a month to catch up
Pooja is a friend I would never replace; she is not only my best friend but one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I can’t imagine how my life would be without her. The friendship we share is one of a kind and am always thankful I found her.
