| START-UP PROCEDURE (SUP)PURPOSE AND SCOPEThis procedure provides the conditions for the start-up of the Turbine- Generator of Bacman I for the following conditions: * Cold Start-up; * Warm Start-up; and * Hot Start-upThe procedure covers the activities required in the start-up of the power facility from cold, warm or hot conditions, establishment of power generation with the generator synchronized to the grid and recovery from power facility trip-outs to normal operation. DEFINITIONSCold Start-up – refers to the sequence of operations to be performed for starting up the turbine when the initial turbine metal temperature is almost equal to the ambient temperature. This condition usually happen if the turbine is shut down 4 to 6 days after a high-load operation.Warm Start-up - refers to the sequence of operations to be performed for starting up the turbine when the initial metal temperature is almost equal to 100 degree centigrade. This condition usually happen if the turbine is shut down thirty six hours after a high-load operation.Hot Start-up - refers to the sequence of operations to be performed for starting up the turbine when the initial metal temperature is above 100 degree centigrade. This condition usually happen if the turbine is shut down twelve hours or less after a high-load operation. | BACON-MANITO GEOTHERMAL INCORPORATEDBacon, Sorsogon – Manito, Albay, Philippines T A B L E O F C O N T E N TS | PROCEDURE ID | TITLE | INDEX | BMGP/SUP-01 | COLD START-UP OF THE TURBINE GENERATOR | SUP-01 | BMGP/SUP-02 | WARM START-UP OF THE TURBINE GENERATOR | SUP-02 | BMGP/SUP-03 | HOT START-UP OF THE TURBINE GENERATOR | SUP-03 |
