- Familiarize yourself with the backward planning process. Upon receiving a task, identify your goal and then choose the actions that are most likely to help you to arrive efficiently at your goal. If you don't understand the task, ask questions and seek clarification to avoid mistakes so you can efficiently accomplish the mission .
- Trust your leadership and be open to direct and honest feedback from them and don't take it personal. There's value in constructive criticism which will identify our weaknesses and it will help us to maintain relationships and be more successful in everything we do. Defensively reacting with anger or even worst shows weakness and lack of respect. As Soldiers we must have maturity and a mutual respect for each other and the chain of command.
