BASIC INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROJECT
M/s. Bahubali Ferro Alloy Ltd. (BFAL) is incorporated under the Indian Companies Act, 1956 on 10th day of June, 2008 having its registered office at 5G, Maruti Building, 12 Loudon Street, 5th Floor, Kolkata -700 017, West Bengal. The main objects to be pursued by the Company on its incorporation were to manufacture and deal in Ferro Alloys.
The company is promoted by Sri Ratan Lal Jain, Sri Ashok Kumar Jain & Smt. Mamata Devi Jain. The promoters have decided to set up two number 9 MVA submerged arc furnaces and one number 6 MT induction furnace at Village & P.S. Barjora, Dist Bankura, West Bengal for manufacturing high carbon Silico Manganese, Ferro Manganese and MS Ingot. For this, the company has already acquired 8.34 acres of land on leasehold basis from West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation
Ltd.
The production capacity proposed is as under:
Silicon Manganese 15000 TPA
Ferro Manganese 19500 TPA
MS Ingot 16500 TPA
The company will draw the necessary requirement of 18,250 KVA power from Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC). The company will deposit the fees for conducting survey of the path by which the line would be drawn to the proposed site which is 1 km away from the sub-station. The company has considered Rs. 34.00 Lacs as provision towards cost of line drawing for power connection.
