Balance School Research Paper
All throughout our lives we have had to balance school with whatever important thing was going on at that time. In elementary school it was easy. We had to balance school and play time. In middle school it was a little more difficult because we had to balance school, our friends and the occasional relationship. High school was when it became a little tricky because it was when most of us got our first job. We then had to balance our job, friends, relationships, and school. We somehow managed to balance all of these things throughout our lives until college came along. College is a transition period for many students, most of which must learn to balance work, friends, serious relationships, and financial debt.

Going to work is the only way to pay off our debts. Not only can school take a toll on a person, but work can too. For some people the stress of things going on at work can take its toll on school and a students grades. Sometimes students grades can begin to drop because they just have too much stress. I, myself am a full time student and I also have a full time job. I work full time because I have a car and phone bill to pay. I also pay for my gas, food, and clothing. My mom is paying for my school right now so I currently don't have loans. However, in two years I will have to get loans, so I'm trying to save money for when that time comes. I have a hard enough time trying to find time in between work and school to study and do homework. Finding the time to hang out with my friends is very difficult, especially the ones who went away to college and only come down occasionally. Luckily my boyfriend and I go to the same school, and work together. We get to see each other in between classes and after work. I don't really have to worry to much about losing him or not finding time for him. He understands what I'm going through because he is also a full time student, and also has a full time job. I sometimes still get very frustrated because I feel like my day only consists of school and work with nothing in between. There are so many times when I just don't know how I'm going to find time to study, and write my paper or whatever it is I have to do. There are also times when I just want to go hang out with my friends, but instead I have to study or go to work. I always tell myself that in the end it will all be worth it, because in the end I will have an amazing

Not many are lucky to have paid all their debt by the time they graduate. Colleges and universities have given students the ability to work around the campus in order to pay for their education. Although this seems like a positive effect to help students pay and try to minimize debt, work is bound to get in the way of education. As students worry about having money in their pockets and scavenge any type of job they can find in or around the campus, they put aside their studies and their capability to perform in class is diminished. There are two very important things I try to always remember when trying to balancing work and school. Responsibility which plays a big part in having good time management. If I am not responsible then it doesn’t mean anything. I have learned to be responsible and try to keep up my school work. To be responsible you must have determination. Determination to me is a very important skill when trying to stay focused on school. Part of being responsible is staying on task with what needs to be done. You need determination to complete your goals and the best way to do that is don’t forget what you are working for. Right now I am working at a resort doing front desk and also working at Jiffy Lube and attending school so you can say I work 3 jobs. I have a pretty set schedule wake up go to work and come home. Every day I have to try to make time for my studies. So, it is important to make the decisions selecting careers and jobs, allocating roles and responsibilities that will provide the opportunity for balance. The real task of balance takes place on a weekly and daily basis. So many people like me stress so much because of this task but they don't know it can be very simple. Like myself lots of people do not have the time to go to a classroom when you have a jobs and/or a family to support and spend time…
