Chocolate Milk
Chocolate milk should be banned from schools because it is unhealthy, causes diseases, and creates complications. For one, chocolate milk is very unhealthy. It has a ton of added sugars, has better alternatives, and a lot of calories. 1 cup, or 250 grams, chocolate milk has 32 grams of sugar. All this added sugar adds up to extra fat. EXtra fat creates obesity and obesity isn’t good for people. #2 grams of sugar. Think about that. That is approximately 4 more grams of sugar than Coke and 7 more grams of sugar than the average lemonade. That is a 1 to 7.8 ratio of sugar to mass. Regular white milk only has a ratio of 1 to 12. There are 157.5 calories in chocolate milk, which is a lot of calories for just 1 cup. Regular milk

For 1, many only have chocolate milk at schools. This is a problem because parents know that chocolate milk is unhealthy drink. But, they are using schools as a refuge for their addictions. Even though kids are the main problem, adults can also have addictions to chocolate milk. More than ⅔ of adults of adults in America are overweight or obese. Also kids love chocolate milk so much that if you remove chocolate milk from their diet they will drink 35% less milk. This shows just how bad this situation is. According to Dr. Frank A. Oski firmed Director at the Department of Pediatrics at John Hopkins University says, “It has been named as the cause of cramps and diarrhea in much of the world’s population, and the cause of multiple forms of allergy as well.” If you have had cramps or have/had allergies know it is horrible, especially allergies. This is why we must ban chocolate milk in schools. All in all, chocolate milk can cause a lot of complications for young children. As I have stated, chocolate milk should be banned in schools because of malaise, likely causes of ill health, and its many drawbacks. But now, I ask you. What do you think about chocolate milk?
