How Barack Obama became President
Introduction:
Without getting into too much about the background of former president Obama, am going to start with a quick bio of Obama. Obama started off as a community organizer in the south side of chicago where he went Obama was not.

In this speech, I’ll talk in summary about Barack Obama's road to the presidency. in 1997 he was elected as an Illinois state senator, and 2004 he decided to run for the U.S SENATE, when it all started with a little known candidate with an unusual name defeating half-dozens rivals to win the democratic nomination, and later won for 2004 united states senate seat, he soon got a call

Hillary Clinton was running she would also be a first and she still with her first lady title, her strong support in the party and solid base in New York was well ahead in the polls.
But the Obama campaign did have the opportunity to take on the Clinton campaign: like the: - fact that Obama was against the war in Iraq which he sometime called a dumb war, he spoken out against it very early. - the fact that he was an outsider not an insider.
- the fact that he was a conciliator and not a divisive figure. he was clearly the remedy to what people felt was wrong more so than Hillary at the time was much more of an establishment candidate.
To get to the head of the pack Obama focused on building a first-class ground campaign especially in the outline caucus States. He used social media better than the other campaigns to create a network of the young excited and savvy voters, one of the keys to Obama’s appeal was his opposition to the war in Iraq (Dumb war)he had spoken out against it early clearly connecting with the mostly white voters. on January third 2008 he's fired up voters wept Obama to victory in the Iowa caucuses they said this day would never
