Barrio Boy Analysis

Have you ever heard of a person trying to do something new in their life? Yes, I've heard of many stories with a person trying to undertake a mission. In every story you see what a person wants to be. In “Barrio Boy” there's a certain mission, he does, like in “The Other Side of the Sky”, and “New Direction.” All of the three stories you see there's one person that achieves their goal. Do you have a certain mission in your life that represents the three stories. In “Barrio Boy” its mission was to learn how to speak in English. Ernesto came to California without learning how to spell or speak English. His school in California was Lincoln School in Los Angeles. Ernesto Galarza's first English practice was to say, “Butterfly” and he said, “boo-ter-fee”. Ernesto's first word in English was, ”Butterfly”. Actually, he learned how to spell in speaking English. At last, Ernesto was proud of becoming an American and he was not ashamed of being a Mexican. Ernesto goal was speaking fluently in English.
Farah Ahmedi was a girl of seven years without a leg. Half of her family died in a rocket attack and her mother was the only person with her. Ahmedi and her mother tried to leave Afghanistan to go to Pakistan for a better life, but there were not letting them only the people with money. So, they went to look for a family. Therefore, they found a family that would take them to another path to cross the border. Ahmedi that only has one leg, she walked faster than her mother.
