Have you ever had a success in life? Ernesto Galarza went to America so his family can get a better life and soon he learned english. Ahmedi lived in a war-torn city so she had to get a better life and go to Pakistan. A boy which his name Aengus and he is finding a girl who he falls in love with her but it was all a dream. They all had a hard time. Have you ever heard of Barrio Boy? Barrio Boy is a story about a boy going to America. The boy is called Ernesto. His new school was called Lincoln School. He had trouble speaking english because all he said was spanish words, his first english word was butterfly ,although, he first pronounced it as “butterflee”. He noticed that there were a lot of people for different cultures. Next, is The Other
Side of the Sky. It is about a girl named Farrah Ahmedi and her mom. She lived in a war-torn city but she couldn’t live there any more because it was nothing but a desert. The she and her mom could have got to a better place called “Pakistan” but it costed money and they couldn’t afford it. Later, a lady said that her husband found a place that they could go. The problem was that there were drug smugglers but her husband could take care of that. Then she and her mom and other people had to go on a mountain because that was the only place they can go. Later on, they went to pakistan. Finally, the last one which is called The Song of Wandering Aengus. It is about a boy that ages to a old guy. When he was young he was in a hazel wood because there was a fire on his head. He got a piece of wood and he cut it into a hazel wand. He hooked a berry through a head and he caught a silver trough. Later, he found a glimmering girl, she called the boy by his name and faded through air. When he got older he was wandering about the girl. He said when he finds her he will hold her hand and then he will kiss her. In conclusion, Ernesto went to go to a new school and had to learn english, Farrah went to a trip to go get a better life, and Aengus wanted to find the girl. Soon Ernesto will learn every word in english. Soon Farrah and her mother will live the best life. Soon Aengus will find the girl. Anything could happen. Even though they all had hard times.
