As it stands right now, This is the 2017-2018 with free agency shifting the landscape quite a bit this time around. Kevin Durant went to the Golden State Warriors, James Harden is officially the Houston Rocket’s PG, Russell Westbrook is basically holding a broken Oklahoma City Thunder team on his shoulders. With the draft having happened earlier this year, everyone’s expectations had been high for this class. Then the pre-season started. Actually, that’s not important because what the pre-season actually does is, gets every player that comes back that year ready for the actual season. As for any expansion that has already been established with international players in the draft and international league acquisitions. Other than that it’s highly doubtful that the NBA has any more expansion plans.
