In the United States, the topic of LGBT+ rights has become quite the controversy, conflicts like transgender bathroom laws, whether or not gay couples should be able to adopt children and many other legal issues. America is supposed to be the land of the free yet we deny certain Americans their Constitutional rights just because of who they love.
A person whose gender does not correspond with their birth sex is called transgender. Bathroom bills are a legislation or a written law that concern access to public facilities, particularly bathrooms, by transgender individuals. These bathroom bills have been presented in some states but the North Carolina bathroom bill, also known as house bill two (HB2) has been the most widespread.

Puberty blockers are essentially what they sound like; the blockers put off puberty until the child is able to start hormone replacement therapy, in which case you must be sixteen to start the process of HRT.
The argument here is that if a child were to be misdiagnosed with gender dysphoria, then the effects of hormone replacement therapy may not be reversible in the future. With puberty blockers, they will only block the child from going through puberty for as long as they take them. So if a child takes puberty blockers from ages ten through fourteen then decides at age fifteen that they were not really transgender in the first place, they could stop taking puberty blockers and their intended puberty will go on as
