Everything starts when we are young. In school they teach us about our society, what are we suppose to look like and how we are suppose to act. Some of us have some issues with the way we look. We want to look like certain celebrities and we want the attention on ourselves. We listen to other people opinions, taking in and let it impinge on us. It’s easy to become insecure when you constantly compare yourself to seemingly strong, flawless people.
In a society that values bigger, better and faster, it can be difficult to overcome your insecurities and become a confident person. But because no one in the world focuses on you more than you do, beating your insecurities is as much of an internal struggle as it is a battle of self-improvement. Overcoming insecurities is no easy battle, as there are many factors that cause them, and they’re constantly reinforced by daily events. Such as our friends, ads, and TV. I was watching national geographic channel how a woman who is 5’3 and wants to be tall like her friends. She wants a surgery on her legs which requires the surgeon to break the bone in her leg so it can grow. Of course when doing that type of surgery there is always the bad side. In her case if the surgery goes wrong she can be paralyzed in her legs for the rest of her life, but the lady didn’t really care all she wanted was to look tall and beautiful like the woman in her country.
When we do certain things to fit in the general
