Beauty is in the Eyes of the Beholder
When you hear the word beautiful, what do you think of? Do you think of a blue sky, a flower, a rainbow? When it comes to the beauty of people, many people have different outlooks. Having true inner and outer beauty is what every women dream about. We are surprised when a women has both inner and outer beauty since we generally separate the category by stating if a women is beautiful on the outside, she will most likely not be as beautiful on the inside. Three characteristics that have developed over time regarding beauty include the fact that men do not care about how they look as much as women, women feel the need to look beautiful even if it takes an immense amount of work, and how the word “feminine” is being perceived. I believe true beauty includes both inner and outer beauty qualities. When you think of the word “beauty” you generally think of females and characteristics that make them beautiful. How rarely do you think of a man being called beautiful?. Women concentrate on beauty far more than men. In the article titled, “What Leads to Romantic Attraction?”, the author gathered information about how men and women categorize their perception of beauty from certain individuals for only a scheduled amount of time. In the speed dating study, evidence proved that men who encountered women who looked beautiful on the outside generally wanted to spend more time with the women and get to know her “inner” characteristics. Yet a man who was faced with a women who took no time to make herself looked presentable, seemed more ignored and shunned by the male recipients. On the other hand, the women had a slightly different outcome.
