Chemicals in these products can affect women’s estrogen; they are called xenoestrogen. Since estrogen is a group of hormones that affect female development, xenoestrogen is man-made chemicals that have an effect on the development. The chemicals in regular beauty products used in everyday life can cause weight gain, PMS symptoms, night sweats, and much more (Source B). It is best to avoid these chemicals, preventing life-long consequences.
Finally, the amount of work people go through to make themselves “beautiful” is expensive and time-consuming. People use these products unknowing the harmful effects it could have on them to imitate people they think is the definition of beautiful (Source C). These people can range from the Kardashians to political figures.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that beauty products can have harmful long-term effects on a person’s body. Humans should always understand the chemicals inside the beauty products they are using, the effects it can have on you, and whether it was worth trying to imitate your role
