He would probably justify keeping the other students in with the idea that they will learn a lesson and could use the time to do work anyway. They would feel angry because it was unfair for them to be punished when they did their work. Some might feel embarrassed for getting others in trouble (someone might even speak up in their defense); some might be angry they’ve been punished; others might be sorry and acknowledge that they deserved it.…
Plot: Commencing at Del Norte High School of a small town called Alberseque, five students began to involve themselves in scheming and plotting of a very twisted plan which backfired on them. The scheme slowly evolved after many conflicts between the students and their English teacher, Mr. Griffin, for various reasons such as marks or dislike of his teaching methods. Mark, who had failed the course and deeply loathed Mr. Griffin, brainstormed to kidnap and "scare" the teacher with the help of his friends, Jeff and Betsy. In desperate need of a distraction or diversion for this plan, Mark told his friend, Dave to ask the smartest girl in the class, Susan (who liked Dave) for help; she was expected to arrange a conference with Mr. Griffin on the kidnapping day. Although Susan didn't want to, she agreed for Dave's sake. On the day, they waited anxiously for Mr. Griffin to come from the conference. When he approached, the students (except Susan) bagged his head and drove him to a secluded area. After they arrived there, the teenagers pressed the teacher to beg for a release, but he refused; out of anger, they dumped his heart medication and left afterwards. A few hours later, Susan called Dave with guilt to bring Mr. Griffin back, but too late --- the teacher already died of a heart attack when they came. They immediately drove back to school and notified their friends. Mark declared that they went too far and it was time to destroy any clues and hide the truth. Meanwhile, Mrs. Griffin notified the police, who assumed her husband deserted her. To add onto that, Mark persuaded Susan into lying to the police (she was supposed to be the last one to see the teacher) that Griffin left with another woman (lying he was still alive). To destroy all possible clues, the teenagers got rid of the car and buried the body. Just then, someone reported finding Griffin's medication (with his name). The police went to the spot, found the burial site, and dug up the body. Meanwhile,…
His mother chose the classroom with predominantly black students, but he was later moved to a predominantly Chinese classroom due to his clear discomfort with being singled out by his teacher for being the only white student. In order to enforce discipline in the classroom the teacher in the black classroom hits the students on the back of the hand using a ruler, however because he was a white student, the teacher was not comfortable using this type of discipline method with a white child ("... took it for granted that a black teacher would never cross the racial line to strike a white student."). His mother visits the school and suggests that none of the…

Terupt, the kids never give up on saving Mr. Terupt job as a teacher. To begin, when the kids realized the budget was low, they organized a fundraiser, this is a very important part of the story because it’s when it starts to show what lengths they will go to to save Mr. Terupt. In addition to that, they set up a bake sale to raise money for the school, so a teacher won’t have to be cut. Also later in the story, Luke one of the 8 kids states “I’m not letting him go down without a fight, and i'm sure the other agree!” This shows how determined the kids are to not give up on Mr. Terupt. In the story when it states, “ Luke knew if the budget didn’t pass they were going to lose Terupt.” When the rest of them realized that they know they had to do more, they needed to do more if they wanted to save Mr. Terupt. So they came up with the idea of making flyers that had a picture of Mr. Terupt on them and then saying VOTE YES. They were going to post them all over town and even knock on random peoples doors to hand them out. All of this shows how determined the kids are not to give up on Terupt and what they are willing to do for him. That shows their determination and will to never give…
Gary was more than proud of the fact that he gave his students a quiz everyday in his Latin class so that they would remember what they had learned the day before. Gary also wanted his students to apply what they were learning to the real world. While interviewing my grandfather he said, “In American Government, I never gave a student an A unless they did at least two ‘A projects’.” These “A projects” were simple things like interviewing a local politician or going to a town meeting. Gary confided that discipline had been the hardest part of being a teacher for him, but he always had the best strategy for dealing with rowdy students. His plan was extremely simple, “if a student would act up in class I would say, ‘that is a great point. Maybe you should stay behind after the bell so that we can discuss it’,” this phrase would make the color drain from even the worst troublemaker’s face. Unlike his co-workers when he first began working, Gary refused to yell at or hit any of his students. In his forty-two years of teaching, the idea of it never crossed his mind. Being a teacher takes a lot of patience, and just as his father always said, “just know you are smarter than the kids, and that you have more experience than…

Fourth grade, my teacher Mrs. TRaurig comes into the classroom with a large, peculiar, full body costume of The Cat in the Hat. The fumes of food swam through the room. “Quiet down, students!” she yells as we all silently take our seats on the circular carpet. She reads Green Eggs and Ham by,…
Once again, I was placed in Mrs.Metcalfe who teaches second grade at Bens Branch Elementary. Mrs.Metcalfe took attendance while the students waited patiently on the carpet. After she took attendance, she addressed that she had taken some privileges away from the students because the students did not picked up their mess after having centers and would not follow instructions that the teacher gave. She explained that centers might return for the upcoming school year if they behaved properly. After she addressed the issues of the students, she instructed everyone to go back to their desks and waited till they put their thumbs which meant that they were ready for the lesson of the day. Mrs.Metcalfe went up to the front of the class to use the projector and expected her students to follow what she was doing on their worksheets.…
