“We the willing led by the unknowing are doing the impossible for the ungrateful, We have done so much with so little for so long we are now qualified to do anything with nothing LINEMAN and proud of it” (quotes gram). In this quote sometimes the most important thing in life are taken for granted. One of the important standard features of life is electricity. Being a lineman involves electricians who work on electrical systems that deliver electricity for the power source to the end user. Becoming a lineman is a solid career choice for one who enjoys outdoor work has an outstanding salary and benefits and is physically challenging. First benefit of becoming a lineman is being able to perform outdoor work. Some people enjoy waking up before the sun rises. When a lineman wakes up before the sun it's typically cold outside. Without the sun’s heat it’s always gonna be a bit colder outside in the morning. Also waking up and kissing you family goodbye. …show more content…
Starting pay for a lineman is about $18 hour. It can go up the longer you work for your company. Lineman also get life insurance. They get life insurance through your employer and sometime also threw your insurance company itself. Linemen typically get it twice because of how dangerous their job is. They not only give you insurance they also give it to their whole family. Usually with works insurance you can see any doctor in the country. They sometimes give insurance to their apprentices that work for them. Along with life insurance and regular insurance you get auto and home insurance as well. When linemen start they automatically get started for a 401(K). Which the employer save up money over the years and they can get most of it when lineman retire at 65 years of age.Some line save up over hundreds of thousands of dollars in their 401 (K)
