Nursing is an amazing career choice full of unlimited opportunities however, before one can earn the distinguished tile of Nurse all the rigorous educational requirements must be met. Becoming a nurse is not easy and it is not supposed to be. You will sacrifice many things to achieve this goal but… trust me it is worth it. The amount of time you will need to devote to truly understand medical terminology, anatomy, pharmacology, and physiology is mind blowing and at times can be overwhelming. Don’t fall victim to those who are pessimistic and not serious about their nursing education. Constant negativity will take its toll and bluer the goals you have; this an also decrease the chance of being successful in nursing school. More than likely the friends you make in nursing school will be lifelong. Remember to always support each other. No one can understand the strains of nursing school unless they experience it themselves. The bonds you form with other nursing students will be amazing to say the least.
#5 Never Give Up
If you are serious about wanting to be a nurse you can never give up. Over the years, I have talked with countless nursing students about this topic. I would ask them when you are a nurse will you ever give up on your patient? The answer is always no. I say why are you giving up on yourself? At this point the tears start clearing and as a student you realize that there will be hard times nevertheless, you have to pick yourself up, wipe away tears, the doubts, and insecurities and focus on the goal of one day becoming a
