It is the smaller of the two, with only four steps down to get into. The room has an open kitchenette area with small table and two chairs, a sitting area with television, and one queen size bed. A welcome or afternoon treat is left after your room is prepared or cleaned for you on a daily basis. The fridge also contains milk, orange juice, yogurt and a platter of Dutch cheese, cold meats, and a couple of sliced vegetables for your breakfast. Cereal is on the counter. A basket of several freshly baked pastries and breads along with a boiled egg, cooked to order, will be placed outside your room, still warm, at your desired time. Breakfast is available for 12,50 Euro per person/night.

The Weavery, set in a beautifully renovated 17th-century house, built in the 1670’s, is located in the central area of Amsterdam. The house was originally built to serve as home and workshop for a family of highly skilled Flemish silk weavers. A sensitive restoration has preserved the building’s original features – ‘steile trappen’ , exposed timber framing beams, 400-year-old floor tiles – are all just part of the intriguing history of this exceptional
