Bedroom Observation: A Short Story
The elevator stops in front of two big white doors. They open automatically when I step on front of them. Once inside, there is a is a long hallway with four rooms on each side. Each room had a chalkboard with a name hanging from them. I go upstairs to find a room for myself. I find a room at the very top of the stairs. I go into it and find a blank chalk board with a piece of chalk. I write my name and hang it on the door. I look at the clock and see that it's pretty late so i decide to go to bed. Under the covers, I think about what happened that day as I drift off to sleep.

(Fast forward 2 years)
I've been here for two years and so far i've been to the UCP. I just got back from my second time there. This time we captured the leader of

I see myself laying down and looking at the sky. It looked like I was in heaven. When I got up I saw a house. I went inside and saw a paper. It said that my mission is to kill the Ender Dragon. I didn't know a thing about Ender Dragon. I searched the house and looked at the world. the world was made up of blocks. Not one block or two blocks. Thousands of them. Haphazardly I realized that I was in mine-craft. A game that I used to play this game when I was seven years old. I thought that it was only a dream, so I tried to wake myself up. But I couldn't. I still thought that it was a dream and went with it. Near me was a waterfall and some chickens. I went in my house. There was a chest, laying there, and I opened the chest. When I opened…

Startled, you get woken up by the police officers barging into your room, you notice the door has been kicked down and you are being yanked by the limbs. Unaware of why this is happening you start to scream and kick at the officers. Next thing you know you get hit in the side of the head and you black out. What feels like days later, you awaken in a dark and empty room. At least that's what you believe. Out of thin air you hear a chuckle come from the corner of the room. Yelling hello you hope for a voice that can answer all the questions you've collected in your head. This mysterious chuckle begins stepping forward, starting to become a dark shadow now in the middle of the room. You begin asking him what's happening and why you are here.…

I agree with your critique, the red door in the background is distracting and the purpose of this assignment wasn't fully met. I like the little details of this image, like the water droplets on the glass and the design of the window. The angle of the shot is nice, but if the background wasn't so busy or if it was blurred out more, it would have easily made a better image. It definitely has potential. Like you said, they could have waited for the sun to come out more to have stronger…

One theme that is great for any age boy is a cabin theme. This is perfect for little boys and older boys because most boys enjoy camping in the outdoors or even fishing or hiking. The best thing about this type of room theme is it can even bring back pleasant memories for each parent. Decorating the room is easy you simply have to find wallpaper borders that remind you of a cabin in the woods, which can be moose or even bears. You can use animal themed bedding or you can choose plaid patterns, which the plaid often reminds you of flannel pajamas that you wear in the winter while camping out. You can add natural accessories or you can buy stuff to help decorate the room, you can even use rustic furniture, such as wooden chests for toys and a log style bed.…

My eyes snap open and the image of a room slowly focuses into my vision. I look around wondering where I am and become aware of a loud shrill noise. Then I remember, this is my place now, this is where I live and that clock needs to stop beeping. Slowly I get out of bed and look into the mirror asking myself the same question as I always do, "Why am I getting up, its not like there is anything for me to do." My room is nothing like I remember it from last night. Last night I had strewn the clothes I was wearing all about the room and sequentially thrashed it by everywhere looking form my pajamas that I somehow never seem to find. Now, my room is all clean. At least the clothes had provided some color to…

The elevator tells me we settled, on the last floor, with a ding, and a screech, elevator doors open. I step out unsteadily. There is only one hallway in the basement, that leads to the only classroom and back to the elevator, or stairs. The classroom is dead ahead. Mr. Fiedler must have let us out really early. I reach the door, it has the body of an oval, with two black windows, but you can’t see anything through them. The door is scorching hot with a massive layer of ash. Scarcely attached to the door, is a charred Christmas wreath buried behind dozens of murky chains. Cautiously, I grab my plastic flimsy ruler. Snap! I break the ruler on my leg, holding my fingers as distant as I possibly can, I swiftly open the door, with only half, of the injured ruler…

I lay patiently on the cracked leather chaise longue. The modest room was a fading cream colour, books line the wall near my feet in an ornate shelf, a small desk and chair sit by the wall opposite me next to the iron door, there is a single swinging light in the middle of the room which casts a golden glow over everything and a painting of a sailing ship hangs above me.…

“So, Ender, do you know why you are here?” Ender had thought for a second and answered, “No, and no knowledge of why I am confined in this chair.” The scientists have once again scribbled on their notes and conversed. Ender had took this time to strain his mind into remembering how and why he had got into the white room. Suddenly beeping sounds come from the far end of the room. Soon after followed excruciating pain that pounded Ender’s brain. Ender groaned, trying to hold in the pain. “Get him a shot of anesthesia right now!” yelled Simmons. Swiftly as if they were expecting this to happen, a female scientist immediately followed the man’s order. Before Ender could even reply, he went to sleep.…

Mistress J weighed heavy on my mind. Goddamn her. Her and her wretched games. I brought a bottle of fireball whiskey to my lips and took a prolonged swig. There was no burning sensation as I drank it, no bitter flavor or bite. I’d had too much alcohol that night to experience delicate, human sensations such as taste. The cinnamon-spice liquor no longer really tasted of anything, just a profound blandness, smooth and gentle like water as it slid down my throat, into my stomach, and then through my small intestine. From there the toxins would be absorbed by itty-bitty blood cells, then come towards my already jittering liver, who was trying with all his might to prevent that poison from reaching a point of metabolized oversaturation in my bloodstream. He wouldn’t accomplish his objective, not if I could help it. It would be a long night, the kind of night that turns to early morning and then before you know it the sun is…

I still remember it was noon of a sunny Saturday and I was doing my homework at my room. My room was so quite except the regular ticking of the wall-clock. Suddenly, an insistent knocks on the door break the quietness. Usually, I would dismiss that: in most cases, it was just someone knocking at the wrong door. However, the sound didn’t go off after quite a while. In the bedroom beside mine, my parents were taking snap and they appeared to be falling deep sleep. They worked very hard at working hours and weekends are the only time they could rest themselves. So, I stood up and walked to the doorway reluctantly.…

All I heard was dogs barking. I rolled over and looked at the time. It was 6:48. I got up and got dressed. Mom was already waiting for me downstairs. We went outside and walked down the road to the bus stop. I was so sleepy but I had already made a commitment and I just couldn’t back out. The bus came and we got on. It was so warm and toasty, the perfect atmosphere to take a nap. Within minutes my eyes started to droop, I just couldn’t keep them open. Then without even realizing it, I was fast asleep.…
