Every creature here on earth takes part in keeping our environment circulated. Even a small creature, like bees, gives an important role in our ecosystem. Bees are hymenopterous insects of the family Apoidea, solitary or social in habit, with smooth or hairy bodies, variously colored, and feeding largely upon nectar and pollen. Bees are usually live in a beehive, a place for a colony of honey bees and most of the time, busy bee workers.
The bee movie shows how important bees are in our ecosystem, how they help our environment to have more plants/flowers. Bees have characteristics that can do pollination, a process of transferring pollens from anthers to stigmas. Barry B. Benson, the main character in the movie, who lives in a hive in Sheep Meadow Central Park in New York City, is an average bee who recently graduated from Bee College. After the graduation, they are about to enter the hive’s Honex Industries. Barry, together with his best friend Adam Flayman, is excited for knowing what work they will have in the future. They were disappointed especially Barry because they will have only one job for their entire life. Barry feels he has the skills to pursue a number of different career paths and he doesn’t want to circulate his life in doing one thing.
Upon touring, Barry was amazed by the pollen jocks. Pollen jocks are the bees that work outside their hive, collecting pollens and nectars of flowers. He decided to join pollen jocks. He was a little bit afraid but it didn’t drive him to back out because of his willingness. When they are already outside the hive, in Manhattan, while pollen jocks are doing their job, he enjoys his new freedom, and totally impressed by the process of nectar collection and pollination. But because of curiosity, he touched a tennis ball and he was stocked into it. The ball where Barry was stocked was used in a game that leads him to be nervous and panic.
