After seeing them I couldn't help but be inspired to use them to make some poker shaped candles out of beeswax. These simple poker inspired beeswax candles make the perfect hostess gift or even something you can make for your own weekly poker game. Working with beeswax candle is a simple an easy craft. You do not have to have any candle making experience to accomplish this simple poker themed craft project. You can complete this candle craft project as described before, but add some fun embellishments to make the poker themed candles really unique. I like to cut some smaller card suit beeswax shapes out with mini cookie cutters. Make sure these will fit onto the original shape. Use a mini spade shaped cookie cuter and you have a simple and elegant more three-dimensional look to the whole candle. Always cut the wick down to about 3/8 inch sticking up over the poker themed candle. A wick that is too long can be a

Purpose/Objective: The ground state is the normal electron configuration of atoms or ions in an element. When atoms or ions in ground state are heated to a higher temperature, some electrons absorb enough energy to move them to higher energy levels. This is known as the excited state. However, the excited configuration is unstable, and the electrons must return back to their positions in the lower energy level. As they return, the energy that was previously absorbed is now emitted in the form of electromagnetic energy. This energy can be displayed in the form of visible light. The main purpose/objective of this lab was to observe the characteristic colors produced by certain metallic ions when they are vaporized in a flame.…
