Varying colleges may offer opportunities to become part of blues ensembles, but because the genre is less than formal in music, it is not typically offered. The cost of being a blues artist is simply what it costs to financially support yourself. The music industry is entirely about connections. It is immensely important to maintain a steady show schedule because that is where people will hear you. Outside of the shows another attribute to maintain is the consistency in your ability to constantly write and produce music.
