Working is one thing I’ve always wanted to do. Getting this job has made it so much easier to take a break from family drama. I feel like I’m on my own and can handle anything. It’s also helped me learn to buy the things I need first and then with whats left, I can buy whatever I want. It also has taught me responsability with money but also in everyday life. I now know how to manage money better then before, where I would blow all my money on stupid things and have no money left for the things I need. It has taught me how to be responsable and independent in my own life.
Independence has been a dream of mine for a couple years now. Relying on other people to buy me things for me and do things for me is not a good feeling. Being independent makes me feel more like an equal to the people around me. I would rather pay for everything, than it be handed to me. Independence comes with a lot of responsabilities that I now have because of getting a job. This has helped me to stop being a child and start being an adult.
Childhood memories is not something you forget, but everyone has to grow up eventually. Getting away from family is a more childish view on a job, but there are some days that you need a break. Getting the paycheck and being responsible with that is harder than it looks, and sometimes I do buy things I don’t need, but it pays off in the end.
