Ben & Jerry funds a grant that supports an organization that aims to transform urban youth in Rhode Island. Young Voice is a program geared to help youth assemble and fight for educational rights and fights against nation wide test that unjustly deprive many students from low-income communities. This message is affective because it shows investors that Ben & Jerry’s is corporation that is socially active and cares about it’s community. It is a video of a young man at the Rhode Island school district speaking in front of the district’s Superintendents about extending resources to the various schools in Urban Areas. Investors can gain real insight into where Ben & Jerry’s spends most of it’s profits.
