Benefits of Failure
Successs After Failure
We live in a competitive society that has big winners and big losers. Educators, motivation experts, life coaches, sport psychologists and other mentors mainly teach us how to approach success, how to be winners. Whereas, nobody can be the best teacher as a failure. Losing is not good but it has to happen, and is going to happen. Therefore, we need to know how to cope with the failure because failure is inevitable. There is a great quote about this case from J.K Rowling, who is an author, wrote the Harry Potter series. '' You might never fail on the scale I did, but some failure in life is inevitable. It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all - in which case, you fail by default.'' So failure is beneficial for us.

First of all, failure enables us to try new things because failing person has to try new things to succeed. Therefore, it provides creativity for us. A Succesful person resists to changing. When we fail, there is a chance for thinking better. That is why all big successes always start with failure.

Another significant point of failure is to understand what caused the failure. It is a challange to success if we donot know what caused failure. It enables us to explore root causes of success and also make a detailed plan for success. After these, we have a better chance for success.

Finally, failure block monotony. Successful person has closed ears to take advices from others because (s)he thinks that (s)he doesn't need to take a advices so (s)he always repeat the same things.

To sum up, we can learnso many things from failures as creativity, understanding what causes failure and blocking repetition. According to these examples, we can understand failure is the best teacher for us and failure is key to big successes.

According to Roger Von Oech, the author of “ToErr IsWrong”,shows us at least two reasons about failure. The most common aftermath that a human being must face in life is their failure. There are two types of failures, errors and mistakes. The most important thing is how we learn and are able to benefit from our previous failures. I agree with Von Oech that having mistakes, errors and failures are necessary. If people who can handle failures in a positive way. This will lead people successful in their future life. On the other hand, if who handle, errors, mistake and failures in a negative way. This will be painful and not attended with future success.…

    Martin Seligman Analysis

It is genuinely fascinating how prosperous individuals approach problems. Where others see impenetrable obstacles, they see problems to embrace and barriers to overcome. Their confidence in the face of hardship is steered by the ability to let go of the negative attitude that holds most individuals back. A research done by Martin Seligman at the University of Pennsylvania shows that success in life is driven by one key element, whether you have the belief that your failures are produced by your personal deficits beyond your control or that they are mistakes you can fix with effort. Success is not the only thing determined by your way of thinking. Seligman has found much greater rates of depression in people who attribute their failures to personal deficits. Positive thinking individuals fare better because they treat failure as a learning experience. They also believe they can do great in the future. Retaining the success mindset is not simple. There are things that specifically shatter it. These problems drag people down because they appear to be obstacles that cannot be overcome. However, this is not so for the successful ones as these problems never hold them back;…

Only through failure can we learn to be resilient. I will teach my students that it’s okay to fail. The key is to teach them that failure can make us better. I will teach my students to learn from their mistakes and failures so they can improve. I will teach them to pick themselves back up when life knocks them down. Throughout their school experience, my students may fail a test, or receive a low grade on a project or assignment. By teaching my students how to develop a mindset of perseverance and resilience, I can teach them how to come back from failure. I can teach them to keep fighting and keep practicing even when the end goal seems so far away. Even though some tasks may seem impossible to them, I will encourage them to keep trying and never give up. Research has shown, that students with more “grit”, performed better on standardized tests and were more likely to graduate. Angela Lee Duckworth, describes grit as “passion and stamina” which allows students to be successful (TedTalks: The Key to Success? Grit). Duckworth explains that students need to be “willing to fail” so that they can succeed. Many students are afraid of failure because they think they will disappoint those who are important to them. What they don’t realize is that quitting is unacceptable while failure gives them a chance to do better the next…

Failure is inevitable experience that can result in new understandings about ourselves and life itself. Whether a person is young or old, everyone has that one story of a time where they encountered failure. The first time I can recall actually dealing with failure came when I was in the 8th grade and learning a new slide on a longboard. I had started longboarding the year prior as a result of moving and living too far from my bus stop. As 7th grade progressed, I got increasingly better and eventually started to learn how to slide, which is a technique used by long boarders in an attempt to slow down when you start to wobble on your board because of too much speed and not having the proper stance.…

Failing is motivation to push yourself to your max potential. For some people it takes forever to figure out that failure is not always a bad thing, while at the time it may seem like the end of the world. “We are all potentially capable of any human act.” (Roth 39).
