Beowulf: Courageous, Strong, And Epic Hero

Courageous, strong, and epic hero are just some of the words that describe Beowulf. In the epic “Beowulf”, Beowulf exceeds all definitions of a hero. What makes him a hero is his ability remain fair, his desire to protect innocent civilians, and his super human strength. These qualities make Beowulf a textbook hero. Beowulf is an honest man who naturally wanted to help others. When Beowulf found out about King Hrothgar’s problem, involving the evil Grendel, he sailed over to Dane to offer his help. When Beowulf saw what Grendel was torturing the Danes, he decided that they needed justice. Beowulf, being the courageous warrior, he was, set forth on mission to get rid of Grendel. Beowulf was a moral based man and believe in fairness. When realized Grendel was going to fight with no weapons, Beowulf decided to level the playing field.
Beowulf is like any other great hero and has the desire to protect innocent civilians. Grendel wasn’t even torturing Beowulf’s people, but he still chose to battle the demon. When Beowulf heard about the situation, he sailed across the waters to defeat evil. Grendel was fighting and killing every Danes he could get his hands on. Beowulf was a brave man who deiced Grendel has killed his last person. Beowulf was just a genuinely caring person who thought his job was to protect
