On August 13th, 1961, the communist government of the German Democratic Republic also known for East Germany, began to build a wired and concrete wall known as the Antifascistischer Schutzwall (Anti-Fascist Protection Wall) (anti fascists is a anti governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, criticism, and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism.) right between East and West Berlin.
The main purpose of this construction of the Berlin Wall was to keep Western “Fascists” from entering East Germany and reducing the socialist state.

After the Berlin wall fell apart, the life of the Germans became much better. This is mainly because as the wall was torn down, people living the east and the west of berlin reunited and there was peace among Germany. People were very happy to meet their family members who lived on the other side of the wall, the lives of people changed. It was also physically easier for the people who lived there because many Germans got their jobs, which they lost when the wall was built in the first place. Travelling across the East and the West Germany was allowed.
The wall also impacted people living outside Germany who were emotionally touched by the Berlin wall and tried to help
