fiction. Countless cruise ships and air planes travel the triangle daily and never experience anything corrupt. Many theories have been suggested throughout the years about why mysterious things occur in the Bermuda Triangle.
Some individuals have considered the disappearances to be a result of pirate attacks, yet some ships are found with everything remaining except the passengers and crew members. Others suggest that it is a form of an alien abduction. Scientists have different explanations as to why things seem to go wrong in the triangle. One argument researchers show is that the location of the triangle is in the deepest part of the Atlantic Ocean at 30,000 feet. Since the region spans over the deepest part, it contains more methanol. The gas bubbles produced by the methanol makes the water unstable, therefore the water could not support a ship like it should. In support of the way planes disappear, scientists say that the coordinates of the triangle fall directly on the equator. That fact makes the region hold additional magnetic waves as opposed to other parts of the ocean. “Researchers also present is a possible coloration of the placement of the triangle and how solar activity could be a factor in the mystery.” (Frigo 1). This could explain the vicious and hasty storms that the triangle experiences. “Experts curiosity revolves around whether sunspots and climatic variables can truly effect the natural climatic forces on Earth.” (Frigo 1). This theory has been discussed by a variety of researchers for many years, formulating that this one theory could be the answer to the unsolved
mystery. The Bermuda Triangle is something that has fascinated society for hundreds of years. It is said that “over 50 ships and 20 airplanes have bafflingly vanished in the Bermuda Triangle since the mid-19th century.” (Britanna 1). Several have been military ships and planes; however numerous people have questioned if the Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 was an act of the shadowy Bermuda Triangle. The disappearance of the Malaysia flight shadows all other plane vanishings that have struck over the triangle. “Though these theories have been proposed regarding the Bermuda Triangle, none of them prove that mysterious losses occur more frequently there than in other well-traveled sections of the ocean. In fact, people navigate the area everyday without an incident.” (Bermuda Triangle 1). The triangle encompasses many prime vacation spots; the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, Puerto Rico, Miami, and Bermuda. Thousands of people have traveled to these diverse locations and have never encountered anything extraordinary. This supports that the triangle is simply fiction. Since accidents that occur in the triangle are so bizarre and rare, they make headlines causing society to believe that the Bermuda Triangle is cursed. Due to the enormous amount of people that travel the triangle daily, it is not possible that the triangle exists.
